Wildlife film maker Rebecca Hosking investigates how to transform her family's farm in Devon into a low energy farm for the future, and discovers that nature holds the key.

It is an interesting documentary on Peak Oil and it’s potential impact on farming. It is also an introduction to Permaculture as a way of designing a way out from the reliance in agriculture on fossil fuels.

Animal extinction_whales

The whale is one of the best predators in the sea. The reduction in its number will first break the balance of marine life and then the larger ecosystem. Most countries recognize this matter and prohibit whale fishing but some still allow whale fishing for commercial and other reasons. I conveyed the image of a bleeding whale on a hook by using the geographical shapes of countries that allow whale fishing such as Russia, Greenland, Denmark, Norway, Alaska, Canada, and Japan.
